Epiphany Acclamation

This short piece can be used to introduce the Gospel readings about Jesus' early ministry that come up during Epiphany. It may be used for more than one Sunday.

There are two versions of the lyrics, depending on if you want to address Jesus, or speak about him.

Lyrics:

We hear you're heading now this way,
Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth.
It's said you've healed people instantly;
your words feeling solid, substantial.
We have hungers to hear good news,
see bodies healed, discover truth.
Soon, your sandals will mark our street.
What will you bring,Yeshua.

-or-

We hear he's heading now this way—
Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth.
It's said he's healed people instantly;
his words feeling solid, substantial.
We have hungers to hear good news,
see bodies healed, discover truth.
Soon, his sandals will mark our street.
What will he bring? Yeshua.
