For Worship Teams, we have new additions below!
Holy Places is a fairly general song, speaking of God's power and presence. We envision it especially during seasons when people travel or enjoy the outdoors. We do have parts for voice(s), guitar, bass, keyboard, and selected percussion, but alternatively, the song can be done with a single voice and guitar.
We also offer Out of the Box, arranged for voice(s), guitar, suspended cymbal, and keyboard. It is a song of adoration to Christ, with different versions to help tie it to specific Sunday lessons.
Two other songs with nearly full worship team parts:
The Younger Son dramatizes Christ's Parable of the Prodigal Son. It's set for baritone voice, guitar, piano, bass, and percussion.
For church celebrations or the Gospel reading about the Body of Christ, Connected by Spirit. We have parts for voices, guitars, and piano.
Some of our other hymns or solos with guitar chords could be used with worship team members as well:
Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing is a quiet, solo voice and guitar arrangement of this beloved hymn.
He Arrives is a Christmas carol set for voice(s), guitar, and optional piano.
For communion, consider our (REPTON) guitar version of Lord, Before that Quiet Meal.
For Maundy Thursday's foot-washing, lessons about greatness in the Kingdom of God, or lessons about the Feeding of the Five Thousand and Jesus as the Bread of Life, consider Song of John.
For keeping ourselves from hatred during divisive times, try Dear Lord, I Come Confessing.
For healing grudges, try Forgiveness (Mercy's Dance).
For wonder at Creation, and how science can support it, Declaring.
NEW! A guitar version of a classic hymn, I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say.
NEW! Along with congregation or choir, Psalm 118—A Psalm and Psalm-tone Paraphrase, with guitar.
Also consider our spoken anthem Salt! or our Christmas song with guitar and men's voices, The Shepherds Recollect.
